OBITUARY

Bonnie Rae Vincent -beloved wife, mother, grandmother (BonBon) and friend, died peacefully with family surrounding her on October 19, 2024. Born January 17, 1936 in Three Rivers, Texas; there Bonnie met the love of her life, Britton T. Vincent Jr. Bonnie and Britt enjoyed a full and happy life together for more than 59 yrs. Bonnie earned her Masters of Art from TWU all while raising her 3 children. Bonnie taught art at the Highland Park Presbyterian school. She served in numerous leadership roles at Walnut Hill United Methodist since 1959 and expressed creativity through murals, floral arrangements for the church alter table; as well as singing in the choir. Bonnie played baritone horn and was part of the Low Brass Choir - performing over many years. Bonnie truly loved gardening which created a natural setting to display her murals and statues. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Stendebach and her loving husband Britton Vincent ]r. and is survived by her sister Bettie Boyd, her children Britton III, Benjamin (Shelby), and Beverly (Ernie). She leaves a legacy to her 8 grandchildren: Brooke, Zachary, Travis, Mary, Tiphaine, Stephanie, Sarah, and Spencer, and her 10 great grandchildren: Merritt, River, Emily, Madison, Levi, Bowen, Maren, Emma, Hannah, and Lincoln. She was deeply respected, deeply loved and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers; donations in her name can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
