PERSONAL MUSIC HISTORY

• First started playing the horn in high school. After graduating from college, I was heavily involved with community bands for several years.
• In 2022 I got involved with NHB and love it.

BANDS/GROUPS I HAVE PLAYED OR AM PLAYING IN

• After moving to Texas in late 2004, I’ve played with the brass chorale at my church, and played with the Plano Band for 1 summer.
• I started with NHB in 2022 but had to go on a leave while caring for my mom. I rejoined NHB in 2024.

CAREER/RETIREMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• I am an entrepreneur with 2 businesses that I run from my home office.
• I can’t imagine retiring!

FAMILY

• I have been married to my husband, Mickey, for nearly 25 years.
• My mom has been living with us for more than 3 years.

INTERESTS/HOBBIES

• Other than music, I am an avid reader, and have a bit of a green thumb.

OTHER

• I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale and have lived all over the country, most recently northern California.
• My husband is Cajun and grew up in south Louisiana. As many of you know, I’m a pretty big band geek...and I love it!!!!
