MOST INTERESTING GIG I'VE PLAYED IN:
I played french horn for Bamburg Community Orchestra where only German was spoken. My German was limited, but I recognized alphabet letters, numbers, Italian, etc. and no one could mistake "check your key signature" no matter what language in which it's spoken! As a child, I was featured twice playing piano on a local TV station.

THE DAY JOBS I HAD THAT SUPPORTED MY MUSIC HABIT:
I am a retired music teacher teaching 2 years in Germany for DoDDS and the next 27 years for DoDEA at Fort Knox, KY. I taught music from K-12, including HS band, elementary band, elementary chorus, general music, and in HS I also taught music theory, guitar, piano, and computer music I taught private piano in my home for many years.

WHERE I'VE LIVED MOST OF MY LIFE:
Most of my years, 27, were lived in Radcliff, KY. I grew up in southern IL, lived in Twentynine Palms, CA; McLeansboro, Kankakee and Herrin, IL; Clarksville, TN; Fort Campbell, KY; Bamburg and Hanau, West Germany; Tacoma and Fort Lewis, WA; Charlestown, IN and now Plano, TX.

WHAT I LIKE TO DO WHEN I'M NOT MAKING MUSIC:
I like to read, play games, scrapbook, make cards, sew, cross stitch and do plastic canvas. My husband and I enjoy taking our RV out and touring the country.

OTHER:
I was president of Fort Knox Education Association, a union, for 6 years and the only federal president to ever be handcuffed!
