Personal Information
NAMES AND LOCATIONS OF BANDS OR ORCHESTRAS THAT I'VE PLAYED IN:
Started playing Sousaphone in 8th grade,
9th grade Junior High School Band,
10-12 Senior High School marching and concert bands.
Two years in Texas Tech Air Force ROTC marching band.
Thirty something year break, then Hella Shrine Concert Band, Town North Concert Band, Plano Community Band and Richardson Community Band.


MOST INTERESTING GIG I'VE PLAYED IN: Richardson Community Band brass quintet at Eisemann Center while it was still under construction. Gig was for Leadership Richardson class and we had to wear hard hats while playing.

THE DAY JOBS I HAD THAT SUPPORTED MY MUSIC HABIT:
Civilian Mechanical Engineer US Army Research and Development Center for Ammunition 4 years, Civilian Mechanical Engineer at Kelly Air Force Base 4 years, Zale Corporation Corporate Officer 16 years and owner of commercial printing company for 16 years prior to retirement.

WHERE I'VE LIVED MOST OF MY LIFE:
Born and raised in Wichita Falls, lived in Richardson since 1969.

WHAT I LIKE TO DO WHEN I'M NOT MAKING MUSIC:
Mechanical and electrical tinkering.

OTHER:
Co-founder of pro bono home repair organization (Richardson area) for seniors in 2002. Still involved in organization today which is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in Richardson. Showed basset hounds for several years and basset hound owner from 1967 until 2017.
